When being asked about a possible fan reaction to seeing him shirtless, Taylor smiled and said: ‘I think they might start crying’. And appearently Mr.Pattinson who appears shirtless as well, started bunking up, so a competition would end with a tie. Very generous Taylor! The shoot of Eclipse started like a month ago and he told MTV that working with new director David Slade has been interesting so far. Eclipse will have a whole darker tone than Twilight and New Moon do and much more action.

In Eclipse the dress is said to be made out of satin and vintage lace. It’s design is adapted to the fashion of the early twentieth century and the history of Elizabeth Masen’s engagement ring. Alice added modern features at the veil and train. The following two are my favourites:

Jodelle Ferland

Another new face appeared in the discussion about small roles in Eclipse. A while ago Summit officially announced that Jodelle Ferland was going to play a part. Lately she talked to E online about it:

“I’m allowed to tell people that I play a vampire who has just been turned,” the 14-year-old Canadian actress tells me. “In other words, I’m a newborn vampire. I’m not allowed to say the name of the character.”

What now relly confuses especially german fans is that the winner of the TV show ‘Mission Hollywood’ was also promised a role in Eclipse. Many people jumped to conclusions and assumed that she would be playing Bree. But that role’s obviously taken now. IMDB actually lists Jodelle as Newborn whereas Sabrina Frank isn’t listed at all. Hence she’ll probably get an even smaller part. Now the question is up again and suggestions are welcome. We thought about  Rosalie’s friend from Rochester Vera; because the role of Royce King II is casted as well.

Rachelle LeFevre

It’s already been rumored for a while but newest pictures make it all official. The role of villain Victoria has been recast. Rachelle LeFevre was replaced with Bryce Dallas Howard. Summit states that the decision was made due to Rachelle’s scheduling challenges. She agreed on working on ‘Barney’s Version’ with Dustin Hoffman and Minnie Driver. This obligation is only ten days long but creates an overlap of this project and ‘Eclipse’. Summit wasn’t willing to situate Rachelle anymore and chose someone else for the role.
Rachelle talked to Access Hollywood about how she feels and what she thinks of the decision. You can find the statement online. Summit gave reasons for their decision only a little while later.

Bryce Dallas Howard in Vancouver

Bryce Dallas Howard, daughter of director Ron Howard will now play the new Victoria. You might know her from movies like Spiderman 3 or Terminator Salvation in which she replaced another actress as well. She was seen in Vancouver where she arrived on Monday morning. Catherine Hardwicke talked about the exchange at the Teen Choice Awards last weekend and said that she doesn’t know any details but:

“I know we originally asked BDH to do the first movie but she thought it was too small a part at that time.” <- Excuse Me?

To me she neither has the looks nor the charisma to display Victoria…

Although many cast members said that they welcome Bryce they are still sad like Peter Fascinelli or Jackson Rathbone that Rachelle is missing.

Mission Hollywood Winner: Sabrina Frank

The German TV show Mission Hollywood in which young women contested for a role in ‘Eclipse’ has come to an end. The winner’s name is Sabrina Frank and she is 22 years old. Originally she studies to be an elementary school teacher in Munich, Germany.
In a recent interview she talks about how acting in English and her role in Eclipse makes her nervous. She also admits that the hype around Rob hadn’t had a full grip on her yet and how she deals with on-set erotism.
I wonder what role she’ll play since she doesn’t know yet. Bree would be possible but she doesn’t have the looks. Any other newborn could be an option as well… We’ll see.
