Real Arcade developed a Twilight The Movie Game together with Summit. It’s a trivia game with many questions and you have to prove your Twilight knowledge. There will be an additional app for the Iphone in the app store but until now the game is only available for AT&T customers. In the near future it will also premiere on the german market. New Moon Cover Flower

New Moon

The flower on the cover of New Moon is a parrot tulip. According to Stephenie Meyer it has no meaning, at least not for her. Unfortunately she couldn’t influence the design of the cover. Maybe it’ll play a role in the movie since Catherine Hartwick already put the apple of the Twilight cover into scene with Edward in the cafeteria. But until now it’s unknown whether or not we’ll see another cover adaptation in New Moon. Maybe the apple inspired Chris Weitz to do the same.

Twilight Movie Mistakes

I found these couple of clips where people reveal all the mistakes that were made in Twilight. It’s really funny to watch. Most of them are just small errors. One of my favorite ones isn’t mentioned though. It’s when Edward comes back from Alaska, they sit at their table and Edward kinda tosses food at the table. Right at that moment Emmet stuffes a cookie into his mouth!

Twilight Graphic Novel in the making

The Hachette Book Group’s manga and graphic novel imprint ‘Yen Press’ will bring out a Twilight graphic novel. The publication date is to be announced. The drawings will be made by the Korean artist Young Kim. Him and Stephenie will work together closely, as she is reviewing every panel, Entertainment Weekly reported.

This draft from the 2nd Biology Class shows what Edward and Bella will probably look like. The characters looks are closer to the descriptions in the book that to the features of Kristen and Robert. Bella looks alot different here while Edward and Robert share some similarities. The upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly shows completed drawings of Edward, Bella and Jacob.

The Half-Blood Prince

Nobody would have guessed that: Harry Potter is on it’s way to ‘dethrone’ Twilight in advanced ticket sales. After Harry Potter was expected to never really resurface he’s now about to take the third spot on Fandango’s advanced ticket selling list of the last almost 10 years. That would put the 6th part of the series right behind ‘The Dark Knight’ and ‘Star Wars III’. By now it has sold more tickets than ‘Transformers II’ or ‘Sex and the City’ at this stage. A possible reason would be the 8 months delay and the built anticipation during the now 2 years since ‘The Order of the Phoenix’. One should also consider the permament apprearance of Robert Pattinson who also stared in the last 2 Harry Potter movies, in the media.

But even if Harry Potter outruns Twilight, it’s upcoming sequel New Moon will probably crush at least the record of the ‘Half-Blood Prince’ .

Twilight Prom location for sale

View Point Inn

The location where the prom scenes of Twilight were shot is for sale. The hotel named ‘View Point Inn’ faces big financial problem. The building requires massive renovations, worth about 1 mio. $ and neither the bank nor the investors wanted to take the risk. Nobody knows for how long fans will continue to visit the site and the owners Geoff ‘Bud Daddy’ Thompson and Angelo Simione can’t afford to pay the bill all by themselves. Now the disposition shall ensure it’s continuity. Another issue would be that public authorities estimate the worth of the object about 800.000 $ while the owners say it’s worth at least a few millions. Everyone who wants to help saving the historical building can donate a stone on the hotel’s website.
