Vancouver Fans besieging Cast
Only a little over a year ago Vancouver had only been the third most important area for the movie industry. It was also called Hollywood North and had been a pleasent set. Especially Stars like Sean Penn, Robert De Niro or Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner settled here. Because compared to other locations Vancouver used to be nice and quiet. This has changed dramatically with the shoot of New Moon in the beginning of this year. Since the cast of the second part of the Twilight Series shoots here, Vancouver became hell on earth. It’s impoassible to walk down the streets without noticing the presence of innumerable Twilight fans. Now during the shoot of Eclipse the sets aren’t accessable for the public anymore because the amount of fans interrupted the cast’s work and couldn’t be controlled anymore. The normal sets are easy to hide from fans but every now and then when scenes simply have to be shot in public there’s people averywhere after only a few minutes. Thanks to Facebook, Twitter etc. Twi-Harts always know about shooting locations or where their stars are right now.
